Accelerating The Future Of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

We believe every day saved brings life-changing medicines to patients sooner.

MMF’s Origin Story

The Question That Became MMF

Over the years, we saw a recurring challenge in pharma: products and production needs could move quickly, but the infrastructure needed to support them often took years to deliver.

We started looking for ways to change that.

One of our earliest answers was skid-based execution. We started by moving parts of pharmaceutical facilities off-site through skid-based solutions, reducing site dependency and saving valuable time. Then COVID-19 brought a new challenge—travel restrictions and limited project teams made conventional site execution even harder.

It led us to ask a simple question: if parts of a facility can be built off-site, why not the entire facility?

That question became MMF.

We developed a way to engineer, manufacture, test, transport, and reassemble complete pharmaceutical facilities as modular units. By moving critical work from site to factory, projects can progress in parallel, reducing on-site complexity and accelerating the path from concept to production. MMF was built around one simple idea: pharmaceutical infrastructure should move at the speed of pharma.

FAQ's

Unlike conventional construction, MMF manufactures, integrates, and qualifies approximately 75-80% of the facility off-site as self-contained modules. Once delivered, the modules can be positioned and connected on-site with minimal site intervention. This approach reduces dependence on local labour and weather conditions, accelerates project execution, and significantly reduces construction-related risks, delays, and uncertainties. Site requirements are limited to the necessary foundations, utilities, access, and other project-specific provisions defined during the design and planning stage.

Yes. MMF facilities are designed with modularity and future scalability in mind. Modules can be added, connected, or relocated, to accommodate changes in production capacity, process requirements, or facility layout. This allows businesses to scale their operations with minimal disruption to ongoing activities.

MMF facilities can be designed and manufactured to comply with applicable international pharmaceutical and manufacturing standards, including US FDA, cGMP, PIC/S, WHO, and EU GMP requirements. Compliance is incorporated into the design, engineering, manufacturing, and qualification processes based on the specific project and regulatory requirements.

MMF significantly minimizes conventional civil construction. The facility is manufactured off-site and installed as modular units, eliminating the need for traditional building construction. Project-specific foundation, site preparation, and structures for warehouse, canteens, admin block requirements may still apply to support the modules and connect essential utilities.

MMF modules are engineered to provide load-bearing performance comparable to conventional civil structures, subject to the specific structural design and project requirements. Modules can be manufactured up to approximately 11.5 m (L) x 4.5 m (B) x 4 m (H), with the final dimensions determined by structural requirements, transportation limitations, and site conditions.

MMF is not based on a fixed template. Each facility is engineered around the client's specific process, equipment, production capacity, workflow, utilities, and regulatory requirements. This enables the modular approach to deliver a highly customized facility while retaining the speed and predictability of off-site manufacturing.

For international projects, MMF conducts a comprehensive transportation survey to identify the most suitable shipping and delivery route. Module dimensions, weight, port requirements, road access, lifting arrangements, customs considerations, and local transportation constraints are evaluated during planning. This helps optimize logistics, minimize delays, and ensure smooth delivery and installation at the project site.
